About LS Design

LS Design was formed in 1994, providing specialist audio design support to REL Acoustics which grew to become a market leader in high quality domestic sub-bass systems. From small beginnings, LS Design went on not only to design a complete range of products for REL, but also to manufacture them.

We have grown a lot since the early days and we now have a small team of experienced engineers able to cover electronic, software and mechanical design and product styling. Our client base has expanded too and and we now have customers in a diverse range of industries: audio, lighting, fire detection systems, and more recently automotive and military.

With the acquisition of a 3D plastics printer and a CNC machining centre we are now even better placed to convert new designs into tangible products, and our experience with smart apps for iOS and Android devices puts us in the forefront of contemporary design.

In 2009 LS Design completed the ISO9001 accreditation process, and the AS9100 standard in 2010. For more details see the Quality Assurance page.

As a small company we are able to move quickly and accommodate the needs of our clients, giving them short lead times and a responsive development team.
