At LS Design we have a broad portfolio of expertise and abilities to cover all aspects of product design, development and manufacture. For some projects we employ all these disciplines to manage the project from inception through to mass production. For others we might be involved in only one aspect of the design, or perhaps just manufacturing.

Our holistic approach to design means that all aspects are considered from the outset. The enclosure not only looks right, but it is designed with PCB and manufacturing requirements in mind; the electronics are designed knowing what sort of software tasks will be required. This results in a much smoother integration of the component parts.

	Circuit Design & PCB Layout We can design analogue and digital electronics for many different types of product and generate a PCB design to implement it. Read more
	Software Design Many electronic devices include a microcontroller running real-time embedded software to control and monitor them. We have experience in a wide range of microcontrollers from the simplest 8-bit PIC through to 32-bit computer modules. Read more
	Mechanical Design & Styling Designing an appropriate enclosure or mounting for the product is essential, as is the product styling which will be the first thing your customer sees of your product. We use 3D CAD and rapid prototyping methods to produce a real design that you can hold in your hands. Read more
	CNC Machining We have recently invested in a 4-axis vertical machining centre capable of producing components from solid aluminium. It is ideally suited to producing rugged enclosures, both for prototypes and for low volume production. Read more
	Manufacturing Our in-house manufacturing facilities give us the edge when it comes to building working prototypes, which can then proceed seamlessly to full production. We have a full range of equipment for surface-mount and conventional PCB assembly and we can also undertake final assembly and test to deliver you a complete ready-to-ship product. Read more
